In practice
Ways We Partner
Healthcare & Hospice
For: Hospice teams, hospital chaplaincy, palliative care groups, bereavement coordinators, family-services teams.
What it looks like: A hospice refers grieving families to our Group Grief Recovery cohort. Holly facilitates the 8-week program; your team supports families through the journey and re-engages them afterward.
Why it works: Your bereavement team gets a structured, evidence-based program to refer families into — not just a phone number.
Churches & Faith Groups
For: Congregations, small groups, women’s and men’s ministries, parish nurses, pastoral-care teams.
What it looks like: A congregation hosts an 8-week Grief Recovery group in its fellowship hall. Holly leads; the church provides the space, invites members and the surrounding community, and walks with participants spiritually alongside the program.
Why it works: The Grief Recovery Method is faith-friendly without being denomination-specific — it complements pastoral care rather than replacing it.
Funeral Homes, Vets & Veteran Orgs
For: Funeral directors, veterinary clinics, pet-loss communities, veteran service organizations, VA family programs.
What it looks like: A funeral home or vet clinic offers a quarterly grief workshop for recent families. RHO provides the curriculum, the facilitator, and the follow-up paths; you provide the space and the relationship.
Why it works: A community that’s already grieving needs more than a sympathy card. A workshop turns one moment of loss into months of support.

How a Partnership Begins

Shape the plan
Together we shape the format — a workshop, an 8-week group, ongoing referrals — around what your community actually needs.
Walk together
We launch the partnership and keep walking together. Most relationships grow into more than one event.
Common Questions
Does our community need a certain size or budget?
No. Partnerships scale from a single workshop for a small group to ongoing 8-week cohorts for a larger congregation or hospice network. Speaking and program fees are scaled to your organization’s size and resources — Restoring Hearts is a nonprofit.
Is the Grief Recovery Method faith-based?
The method itself is evidence-based, not denominationally tied — it works inside faith communities and outside them. Many of our church partners use it as a structured complement to existing pastoral care.
What’s the typical lead time?
Two to four weeks is comfortable for most workshops. A full 8-week cohort needs a little more lead time so we can promote and enroll. Tight turnarounds can sometimes be accommodated — ask.
Can we host virtually?
Yes. In-person is preferred for the deeper cohorts, but virtual and hybrid formats are available for organizations outside our Central Florida service area or with distributed teams.
Ready to explore a partnership?
Tell us a little about your organization and how grief is touching the people you serve. Holly will personally reach out within three business days.
